Dr. Dennis A. Jewett, MD
Dr. Jewett is a neurologist who has extensive experience in the management and diagnosis of brachial plexus injuries. He received his Bachelors degree in Science from Western Michigan University , and subsequently completed a Masters degree in physiology at Michigan State University , earning membership in Sigma Xi for research. He received his medical degree from the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University , and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester , Minnesota . He is board certified by the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He has served as physician liason for the West Michigan chapter of the ALS association. He is currently in the practice with Bronson Neurological Services, and is the director of the Bronson Neurodiagnostic Laboratory. Dr. Jewett is an advocate of evidence based medicine and considered a s an authority in the diagnosis and management of peripheral nerve injuries. |

Dr John Stephen, PT, PPD
Dr. Stephen is a master clinician(PT) specializing in advanced orthopedic manual techniques.He received his Post-Professional Clinical Doctorate in 2006 with a concentration in advanced orthopedics. Currently, Dr. Stephen is preparing for both his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and Mckenzie certification. He graduated as a physiotherapist in early 90's from India . Dr. Stephen is also an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor. With extensive experience in treating low back pain and radiating symptoms, he has an active interest in sharing his expertise through mentoring, and has taught numerous courses. Dr. Stephen currently works in one of the top 100 hospitals in the US , as a senior physical therapist and educator. Dr. Stephen's research interests include clinical efficacy-outcomes on patients with low back pain with disc involvement which will be the concentration for his next PhD.
Dr. Stephen is a native of Kerala and he enjoys photography, nature, music, and traditional arts. |

Dr. Kenneth Highhouse
MD - Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Highhouse graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Florida in 1986. He received his medical degree, with honors, from the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine in 1990, earning membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed specialty residency training in orthopedic surgery at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies in 1995. During his residency, he returned to Tampa through a traveling rotation for specialty training in sports medicine. He continues in private practice with an academic affiliation as an instructor for the MSU/KCMS orthopedic surgery residency program. Dr. Highhouse is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. He practices general orthopedic surgery with special interest in injuries and disorders of the shoulder and knee, fractures, sports medicine and arthroscopy. |

Mr. Gavin E. Hamer, P.T. Dip. M.T.
Gavin E. Hamer is a master clinician who graduated as a physiotherapist in New Zealand in 1979. He was awarded the Diploma of Manipulative Therapy in 1991. With 15 years in private practice in New Zealand and Canada , his approaches range from McKenzie rationale to muscle energy and mobilization. Gavin has further developed these approaches to make them more clinician friendly. Gavin has taught over 100 manual therapy courses since 1995 and is constantly updating material and techniques to allow clinically effective approaches to be shared. This material is the basis of his book. ‘The lumbar Spine and Pelvis, a Syndrome Based Diagnostic and Treatment Approach'. Gavin has developed an effective a practical method of treatment of the spinal and peripheral regions of the body and presents it in a humorous and down to earth manner. |

Mr. Brad Mescher, A.T.C.
Brad Mescher earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Ohio University in 1996. Brad served as the athletic trainer for the Detroit Rockers professional indoor soccer team in the final year of the team's existence. Currently, Brad serves as the athletic trainer for the Southeastern Michigan Timberwolves semi-professional football team. He has developed extremely proficient taping techniques for both prevention of injury and enhancement of mobilization techniques. |
